Why oh why do we think you should come to Colombia with us when you could
A - stay right where you are or
B - travel anywhere else in the world?
Well, maybe you too feel that winter is hard on your engine and mind. In our case, winter back home just goes on forever. We have two little kids and by the time they are all bundled up one of them needs a diaper change and the other one is throwing a fit because she cannot fix her hat with mittens on. We like to escape for a while during these long winters.
But why Colombia, you wonder? Colombia is gorgeous, it is warm and it has very progressive cannabis laws.
The first time we went we were pretty clueless. We did not know where to go, where it would be safe, and comfortable, and where to source good weed. By the time we had all our ducks in a row, it was time to go back home.
So we thought, why not pass on what we have learned and offer a trip to cannabis lovers without the hassle that we had to go through when we were first sourcing everything?
And we did! We teamed up with a Colombian cannabis master grower and a coffee finca owner and created Wind Hill Tours located in Quindio, in Colombia’s coffee delta.
The only risk is wanting to stay
What we put together is an 8-day tour, that we personally would love to be on.
8 days where you do not have to think about any logistics. All you need to do is arrive at the airport in Colombia. After that, you will be taken care of. We will pick you up, drive you to your gorgeous Finca, provide you with top-quality cannabis throughout your stay, cook you delicious food, and show you around beautiful Colombia.
That includes a trip to a coffee Finca where you will learn everything about coffee.
And of course, we will immerse you in cannabis extraction and infusion workshops led by our agronomist who will answer all your growing questions.
We are taking you to Salento, a beautiful colonial town in the coffee delta, and continue to Cocora Valley, home of the iconic Colombian wax palm but also many other species such as sloths, tapirs, the spectacled bear, and toucans.
A lot of time on this trip will be dedicated to wellness, spa sessions, massages, a trip to the hot springs in Santa Rosa de Cabal, Yoga, and Ganja Yoga and we will show you how to make infused chocolate from cacao beans.
And at the end of this trip, you will be a cannabis and coffee expert and hopefully feel ten years younger after all this wellness. Colombia’s slogan is “The only risk is wanting to stay” and we think they nailed it.
