Is Colombia safe?

The short answer is yes – as long as you keep your wits about you and stay away from known dangerous areas. From the moment you arrive at the airport you will be treated like family and handled by experienced guides throughout your stay. Quindio and the whole coffee triangle where you will be located is considered one of the safest area of the country.

Q: Do I need a negative COVID test to enter the country?

As of May 1, 2022, visitors to Colombia ages 18 or older will need to provide proof of complete vaccination for entry or a negative COVID test (48 hours in advance of travel for an antigen test or 72 hours in advance of travel for a PCR test). Please check HERE as well since these things change.

Q: Do I get a refund if I cancel my booking?

A: If you cancel your booking:

-14 days before the tour, we will refund 90%.

-7 days before the tour, we will refund 50%.

-72 hours before the tour, there will be no refund.

• If we overbook, you will get a full refund.

Q: Can a tour get canceled?

A: We recommend buying refundable airfare. In the rare scenario that our tour gets canceled, you can get a refund or re-schedule to an upcoming date. Reasons that can affect our tour include:

- Unforeseen natural disaster

- Not meeting the minimum quota of guests to run a tour (which has never happened).

We have a minimum of five guests for our tour to happen. If we don't meet this quota, we will provide you with a full refund.

Q: Is cannabis legal in Colombia?

A: It is legal, you can have up to 20g with you for personal use.

Q: Are any of the tours physically challenging?

A: The most challenging tour will probably be horse back riding, so not very challenging. Our tours involve about as much walking as a trip around town. There will be some standing in the sun, but there is usually a seat in the shade nearby. If you’re concerned about getting around, let us know and we will find a solution.
